DELF/DALF Preparation Course

What is DELF/ DALF?

The DELF (Diploma in French Studies) and the DALF (Advanced level diploma of the French Language) are recognized as official diplomas of French language abilities for foreigners or non-native speakers. These exams are administered by the International Centre for French Studies (CIEP) for France's Ministry of Education.

The DELF exam is made up of 4 different levels, A1-Beginner, A2-Elementary, B1-Preintermediate, B2- Intermediate. After completing all of these levels a student would then be ready to take the DALF Exam. The DELF exam is the French equivalent for the English TOEFL exam, but the contents and make up of the exams are very different. Like most language certificates there are multiple levels of certification based on the test takers current level of French. Each level evaluates the four communication skills: oral comprehension, written comprehension of the written production, and the production and oral interaction. The level of difficulty of each section increases for each level of DELF certification.

The DELF test – Diplôme d’études en langue française – has four levels: A1, A2, B1 & B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The DALF test – Diplôme approfondi de langue française – is for C1 & C1+

OUR PREPARATORY COURSES:
